The washer didn't complete the wash cycle.
Answer Hello James. You need to check and see if the pump is clogged on the unit and needs to be cleaned out. If it gets clogged, it will prevent the unit from running and doing what it is suppose to be doing during the cycle.
We recently completed a motor control board repair on our washer and noticed while the washer is spinning that the pulley seems to be bent or at least out of alignment. With the belt removed, there is no play in the pulley otherwise, and the drum spins freely and without additional noise or vibration. Must we replace the pulley to correct this, or is this an indication of something more serious?
Answer Hello Ryan,
If the unit spins out at high speed and isn't jumping around, I would disregard the pulley seeming to be out of alignment. There is no such thing as perfection in this world and many of these units do this. The only time you should pay attention to this is if it is affecting the ending result of the use of the unit such as causing and out-of-balance condition or other such issue.
THE LARGE PULLEY,137317100,IS AN ALLEN HEAD CAP SCREW. I HAVE BENT MY ALLEN WRENCH AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO BREAK THIS SCREW LOOSE. HOW CAN I GET IT LOOSE.
Answer James, something to try, insert a new allen wrench into the bolt, whith pressure on the allen wrench in a counterclockwise diection, tap the top portion of the "L" of the wrench with a hammer, sometimes that works. Otherwise you'll probably need an impact wrench. Thanks
Final Spin so Noisy, Belt is New ?
Answer Hi Alex. Remove the back panel. Is the main pulley part # 137317100 worn and loose ? Is it wearing grooves into the back of the tub part # 134509510. If the rear outer tub bearing is shown leaking it is flushed the worn seal . It along with the spinner /axle assy. that mounts to the back of the inner spin basket part # 137105900 needs replaced. Inner gasket part # 134361900. If it roars instead of the jet engine spin sound this is the issue. Thank You.
HOW TO REMOVE THE BELT PULLY THANK YOU
Answer Richard, Heres some help. " To remove or replace the drive belt: 1. Disconnect washer from electrical supply. 2. Remove rear service panel. 3.Remove belt by turning tub drive pulley and rolling belt off pulley. The belt is elastic and is designed to "give" enough to remove and install in this manner. 4. Reverse procedure to reinstall, making sure that belt tracks in the center of the tub pulley. Adjust tracking if required,by moving belt on motor pulley. Removing the large pulley: 1. Disconnect washer from electrical supply anf turn off the water supply.2. Remove rear service panel and belt. 3. Using a 9/16" wrench,Remove the bolt in the center of the pulley by holding the pulley and turning the bolt counterclockwise." Thanks and Good Luck
