As others have explained, my washer will not spin. The tub fills, the timer moves but the tub will not move. It does not wash, or spin. The timer goes tru the cycle, tub does not spin. It sucks out the water then it shuts off.
Answer Hi Anthony. Find the wiring diagram under the top and/ or inside the cabinet folded up in a packet. The wiring diagram we see is too smudged to figure the colors of the wires going to the pressure switch. The tub fills and then the goes connected to the pressure switch is sensing the water fill and pushes the displaced air back up the hose and allow the pressure switch diaprahm to close the contacts and allow the motor to run. You can figure the common terminal (feed) and jumper that wire to the closed (fill) terminal on the pressure switch to see if as thew door is shut and it is on a low fill setting with water then the unit should run. Use a volt/ohm meter part #@ TJMA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Unhook the pressure switch hose. Blow back into the tub and see if you blew out any restriction. Lint ( a clogged dryer vent system) will get into the hose and not allow proper switch sensing operation. Take another hose the same size and hook it onto the pressure switch. Keep the original one hooked up to the tub taped tight to the back of the controls area so it does not fall and leak while testing. At the point to where you think the timer is set to run with a low water fill and the door closed, blow into the switch. It should close the diaprahm contacts and allow motor to run. If it does not then you need a pressure switch part # 134433701. You can do this procedure instead of the jumper of the wires if desired. Let us know if we can help you further. Thank You.
Hi, can you tell me how many gallons a minute the AP2106445 pumps puts out and at what PSI?
Answer Hello Paul. We do not have that information. You will need to contact the manufacture of the pump 131268401 for that information. Thank you.
The wash machine will not discharge the water in the tub. It seems to fill Ok and aggitate Ok, and will not remove the water from the take. Do I need a pump, and where can I get instructions on how to repair and replace this pump?
Answer Hello Ron. First, unplug the unit and remove the two screws at the bottom of the front panel. Pull the panel outward and remove it from the washer. Next, access the hose going from the tub to the pump and remove it and see if the pump or the hose is clogged. If not, you will test for power coming to the pump assembly in drain mode. If there is power there, and the pump does not drain the water, you will need to replace the drain pump 131268401 on the washer. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
