Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
In reference to previous question I asked, where is the pump located and how do you check it for being clogged?
Thank you, Debbie W.
Answer Hello Deborah. It is located inside the machine on the bottom panel. You will need to remove the back access panel to access the pump. Here is a link to the diagram page to see where it is located. You will want to check the filter located inside part number 41 on the diagram. Hope this helps. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5155574&diagram_id=1259382

Will not drain and it leaks around pump.
Answer Hello Bruce. Check and see if the filter is clogged. You will need to replace the pump if it is leaking.
Michigan winter, no heat, filled washer with water hit spin nothing lowered drain hose had a bunch ice in it. warmed the trailer back up, thing still will not drain. Do you think I need a new pump?
You will want to check to make sure that there is no ice in the pump assembly and check to make sure that the pump is getting 120 vac to it. If there is power and the drain hoses from the tub to the pump and from the pump to the drain port are clear and the drain has no ice in it then the pump is faulty and would need to be replaced.
Repair e20 error code. It comes during the final spin cycle. The Water drains, but it does not spin.
The E20 error code indicates that the water is not pumping out fast enough. Check the drain hose for restrictions. If there is a restriction then correct. If no restriction then start the washer and check for 120 vac at the drain pump. If there is not 120 vac then replace the main control board. If there is 120vac then remove the pump and check it for blockage. If blocked then remove the restriction and if not then replace the pump.
Hello, I have replaced my drain pump and still getting e20... I opened the door and put a gallon of water into the tub and it will pump that out but not spin or add water... I also can't get it to go into test mode nor can I reset the error.... HELP
With the E20 error code indicating that the water is not pumping out fast enough then you will want to double check the hoses for a restriction problem. Check the hose that goes from the bottom of the tub to the drain pump especially well as there is a check ball inside that something could be caught causing the unit to not drain fast enough.
