I got no water going to ice maker.
You will want to check to make sure that the fill tube that feeds the icemaker is not frozen. If frozen then replace the water valve. Also check to see that the water valve is getting power when the icemaker calls for ice.
Our water dispenser stopped working a while back. I assumed that the filter was clogged. I am confident WFB2CB is the correct filter. I bought and installed it but I still don't have water dispensing. We do have ice production that seems normal, and we have had ice all along. When I press the paddle to dispense water I hear the valve, but no water is discharged. Any ideas? Thanks man. Frigidaire FRS6L9EFSS0
Answer Hello Mike,
This can be the water valve since 242252702 the valve has one solenoid for the ice and one for the water, or it can be a frozen water reservoir in the bottom of the fresh food compartment. Be aware, just because you can hear the water valve energize doesn't mean that it is mechanically opening to allow water pressure to pass. If it is the water reservoir frozen, you can use a hair dryer in place of a crisper drawer for about 15 minutes to thaw it out and set the fresh food compartment to a colder setting. I know this sounds backwards but you must increase the air circulation to prevent the cold air from the freezer from migrating back through the air return and causing the bottom of the fresh food compartment from getting as cold as the freezer.
Will this filter work on my model frigidaire? It is 7 years old.
Answer Hello Lori! Yes, the Puresource1 water filter WF2CB will fit your model FRS6L9EESSN. Thanks!
I just received my new water filter model number WF2CB but although the model number is the same as the old one there appears to be some difference between them. Your customer service rep said that this is a modified version of the filter and she insist that it will fit. Is there a special way to install this new filter?
Answer Hi Greg, I need you to clarify your model number to be sure we have the right thing. I think you're missing a "2" in front of the "67" making your model number PLHS"267"ZAB5 instead of PLHS"67"ZAB5. If I'm right, you do have the right filter part number for your model. If you could explain the problem your having with it maybe we can determine what is wrong. Check the opening really good to make sure nothing came out of place when you removed the old filter. This filter should install the same way. Hope this helps!
