How can I stop the water leaking where the filter is engaged at the o-rings?
Answer Hello Syd. It sounds like the filter base 240396002 may be bad. Hope this helps.

Rails on shelf are broken and does not securely hold the drawer below. Looks like part 42, how do I find out a description of that part and cost?
Answer Edie, item 42 is the rails for the snack pan (first drawer in the refrigerator section). The right side rail is part number 240356501 and the left side rail is part number 240349701. When viewing your model and diagrams on your site, the diagram will be at the top of the page. Once you locate the item needed on the diagrams scroll down the page and you'll be able to match the item number to the part number needed. Hope this helps you, thanks.
My Refrigerator started leaking water for a few day and now it stop making ice or giving water.
Answer Hello Ana. You will need to check the water filter and make sure it is good and also check the filter housing in the unit.
When trying to get a glass of water the water runs out filter into refrigerator. What causes this?
Answer Melody, more than likely it would be due to a defective water filter housing. We'll need your model number to determine the correct part needed for the repair. Please obtain this information and repost for further assistance. Thanks.
I used to have the WF2BC filters with the clear casing, and everything worked fine. However, I recently had to replace the filter, and it seems the only filter available are the white plastic casing ones. I inserted one, ran off several gallons of water, then noticed that the water coming out is still cloudy after several days, with a bit of strange smell. I poured a glass and let it sit over two days, and noticed a layer of white sediment on the bottom of the glass. Switched to another new filter, ran through a few gallons of water, then same thing happened...the water dispensed are cloudy still....Given that I live in New York City, I can drink the water straight out of the tap...and the tap water are definitely clearer than the filtered water. Is it just bad luck that the filters are bad? or are these filters don't work as they should?
We are unaware of any changes in the design of the filter other than the casing. This issue sounds like it could be an issue of something that could have collected in the water tank or just a bad run of filters.
