Getting the HO code while washing comes & goes, but the temp inside seems very hot. We run the hot water before fill. The liquid soap kind of bakes to the door and does not desolve. Switched to powder soap and that cakes in place. Soap door seems to open during cycle OK. Not sure if this is a over temp issue or mechanical??? Seems like it's overheating and baking the soap...Ever seen this before? Thanks!

To which side of the thermostat should the red wire be connected? I see that there is a green dot on the bottom of the thermostat so I'm assuming that means it should be connected to a specific wire. I already threw away the old thermostat and didn't pay attention to which side as the wire had already melted away a portion of the thermostat.

The Frigidaire Professional dishwasher runs normal, however it will stop during the cylce, typically around the end before drying. The HO light comes on during the run and water heats up, so I don't think that it is the element shorting out. Any suggestions?

The short wire connected to the thermostat was not pushed on properly, and overheated and melted the connector. What part number is needed to replace this wire with 2 connectors?

Don't have the model # at hand . It's a Fridgedaire Professional series 2007 model, the unit runs in HO for at least 25 minutes. Is this normal or is the thermostat at fault ?

New to multi-meters. I measured the hi-limit thermostat and it read 0.3 (which is what it read with leads touching) then it read 14.0 when touching the element. I guess I'm confusing myself, is the thermo bad or the element? Btw the initial problem is no heat in the dishwasher
