Our Frigidaire washer vibrates during the spin cycle even though the unit is level and feet are in good shape and bearing the weight of the washer evenly. I suspect the cause can be traced to my builder who installed the washer but failed to remove the shipping block and screw. The washer was used for several months before we found that the shipping block had not been removed. I removed it and the washer vibrations reduced but did not stop. The vibrations are getting worse and I would like to get it fixed before deciding to replace the washer. Since this unit was under the stress of the shipping block during use, I suspect the snubber might have been damaged?

My White-Westinghouse is making a very high pitched squealing sound when it's on the spin cycle. Do you suppose the problem is spin bearing? Belt? Snubber? Thanks for your help. V

Dryer in this combo unit is squeaking, also clothes are getting in between the drum and front panel and making holes in garments. They generally get caught up on top of the drum where it connects to front panel. Is this a felt or glide issue? Really appreciate any thoughts.

The washer on this Kenmore stack unit seems to work fine, but the basket rotates during agitation, and it keeps spinning a while when you open the lid. Is there no tub brake on this model? Thanks

I replaced the transmission bearing. After reassembly the washer was fine EXCEPT when finished spinning the tub isnt level. No vibration during spin. Is this the snubber or spring tension? Thanks: Papa Chuck
