My parent's washer will short-cycle on the gentle cycle, filling and agitating just a bit, then immediately draining and spinning instead of soaking and re-agitating first. Could this be the timer mechanism, some sensor, other?

The cold water does not shut off unless I turn the water supply off. It will start again at the appropriate time and not turn off again.

After getting a new drum, dead because of your choice to make a pot-metal spider which you know will corrode, and using cold galvanizing paint on that new spider, I put the washer back together, but was unsure about where to put the hose end of the air chamber. It looks like it should go on the nipple from the water level sensor ( Frigidaire Part Number AP3874058). Is this correct? On my first sentence, why won't you cast the spider, dip it in zinc, and then attach it to the drum? You could guarantee the machine for 10 years at least, blow your competition out of the water, and make more money.

My washer will fill and go through the wash and rinse cycle, but will not spin between or after the cycles. I'm guessing this is a switch problem of some sort, but which switch is which? Thanks, Dave

My washer stopped in the rinses & spin. I was able to open the washer door while the knob was pulled out and the door lock light on. The washer didn't drain water. I tried various operational steps with no reaction. I thinking it could be a bad door lock switch. If not please advise what parts could be needed. Thanks

Water will not go into my washer. I changed the door lock switch and now the machine will run through all cycles but still no water. I replaced the door switch because you had to wiggle the door to make the machine work. I checked the wiring plugs. They can only go in one way.
