My timer goes half way and then it stays in that position. The washer does not turn off. I could hear the washer running. I already changed that timer and it is still the same. Could the thermostat be bad? or the switch seclector pannel.

Answer Hello Doug. You need to test the heater and the thermostat and make sure they are good. If not, that is the issue with the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Dishwasher does not drain. Cannot hear pump running,. Pump works on washing cycle.

Answer Hello Geno. You need to test for power coming to the drain pump. If there is power there, and the unit does not run, you will need to order and replace the drain pump on the unit. This model has 2 pumps. A circulation and a drain pump.

My dishwasher fills ok, pumps out ok, but does not pump/spray to wash the dishes no matter what cycle is chosen. A buzzing noise can be heard in the area of the control knob. Do you think this is a bad timer or is there a relay somewhere?

Answer Hello J.H., This sounds like a bad circulation pump. It could be the timer, but if you test for voltage at the motor, you can easily isolate it. If you have voltage at the circulation motor, the motor has failed. If you no voltage at the circulation pump, you have a bad timer.

Timer not responding.Checked Power, OK Checked Handle Switch Continuity and Power, OK Unit one time when left on in the middle of wash cycle "Not delay" started and ran about 2 minutes and shut off.Is this the timer or could this be another problem?

Answer Hello Rick. If there is power coming to the timer motor, and the timer does not advance, you will need to replace the timer 154412901 in the unit. My dishwasher makes a buzzing sound and no water is going into it. We have check all the hoses and they are clear. Could it be the pump?

Answer Hello Jean. If the buzzing is coming from the water valve, and not water is coming into the unit, then you will need to replace the water valve 154637401 on the unit. Hope this helps.

In previous conversations told to replace timer knob and timer. Ordered and replaced parts. Unit still runs for 2 hours and still not on drying cycle. Helped dial move along to get to next cycle. What could be problem?

Answer Hello Arlen. Make sure the water is hot at the sink before starting the dishwasher. Also, as for the heating issue, test the thermostat 154290204 and the heater 154665201. They should read closed for continuity. If one of these are bad, it can cause the unit to run for longer periods of time. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Our dishwasher timer gets stuck at the dry cycle and there is no heat from the beginning of any cycle. No more steam when opened in mid cycle, no hot water inside. It has also developed a black residue on all dishwasher racks, baskets interior spray arms, inside door, etc. Could all this be one problem or does it sound like many. Are there any trouble shooting tasks we could try before giving up.

Answer Hello JLM. You will need to test the thermal cut-off 154290204 and the heater 154665201. They should read closed for continuity. Also, check and make sure the water level inside the dishwasher is correct. If not, it can cause the problems your having with the debris.
