My Frigidaire Laundry Center Fills and agitates, but does not pump or spin. The timer would make a slight buzzing/timer sound when it hits the spin cycle, but nothing else. I ordered a new timer and put it on and put to the spin cycle and it started to pump out water, but the water valve was opening at the same time. Upon further inspection I had received a timer that looked the same, but had a slightly different part#. But it was good because it showed that the pump was working. I sent the wrong timer back, received the new correct timer, installed it and it is doing the same thing the original timer was doing, no pump/no spin. Please help.

i CAN'T FIND A PLASTIC CLIP ON TH BACK OF MY TIMER. MAYBE IT'S ALREADY BROKEN OFF, BUT i JUST SEE THE END OF A PLASTIC SHAFT WITH A FLAT ON ONE SIDE THAT SEEMS TO BE PART OF THE KNOB. THE WHOLE SWITCH SEEMS LOOSE SO THAT PUSHING IT IN TO SELECT THE CYCLE AND PULLING IT OUT TO TURN IT ON DOESN'T WORK. THE SCREW JUST UNDER THE KNOB LOOKS LIKE IT SHOULD HOLD IT IN PLACE, BUT IT'S LOOSE. AND WITHOUT GETTING THE KNOBS OFF I HAVE NO ACCESS TO THE SCREW. I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING THAT I WOULD CALL A CLIP OR ANYTHING HOLDING THAT KNOB ON. AND I CAN'T LOCATE A CLIP IN ANY VIEW OF THE SWITCH YOU SHOW. I THINK I'M STUCK UNTIL I GET AN ANSWER BACK FROM YOU. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. JAN
