My washer completes a wash cycle, but will not drain or spin. The timer seems to advance to the drain position, then everything stops. I can't even get it to drain by manually advancing the timer. I've tried all of the locations on the timer dial where is should drain ... nothing at any of them. This seems to indicate the drain pump, but I've taked the drain pump out (oh, what a joy that was), and applied A/C power directly to it ... and it spins. I put the drain pump back in ... no joy. Any thoughts? Timer?

Answer Hello Dave. Check the lid switch and make sure it is good. If so, test for power to the pump. If there is power and the pump does not run, replace the pump. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. HI. My washer fills up with water but it wont start spining cycle. If we move it manually it drains the water. We check the lid already and its not the lid. Could it be the timer or something diferent. I hope you can help me thank you.

Answer Hello Janet. If you can manually advance the timer and it works, then you will need to replace the timer 134049500 on the washer.

When my washer gets to the rinse cycle water just continuously runs and drains. It doesn't fill up with water but will not start the spin cycle. If I manually advance it to spin cycle it will eventually start spinning and finishes just fine. Any help would be appreciated. thanks, Jay

Answer Hello Jay. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the machine is siphoning out. You will need to check and make sure there is only 6 to 8" of drain hose inside the drain pipe. Also, make sure the drain pipe is not backing up and the pipe is not air tight around the drain hose. Hope this helps.

How do you replace the timer on this model frigidaire washer? The parts store sold me a electrolux 134049500 will that work?

Answer Hello H. You will need to remove the back cover on the control panel and gain access to the timer. Then remove the knob from the timer and release the tab holding the timer in place. Slide the old timer out of the unit once the tab is released and unplug the wires going to it. Reinstall with the new timer in reverse order. Hope this helps.

The washer fills and agitates but will not go into spin. You can hear a few clicks from the timer then nothing and the dial stops moving. Could it be a bad timer or motor?

My washer is working on all cycles but will not pump the water out. I have been told it could be the pump or timer. Any way to check them?

Answer Hello Stan. You can test the pump and see if your getting voltage to it. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. If there is power there, then you need to change the pump. 137221600 If no power is there, then you will need to change the timer. Hope this helps.
