I am only able to load three or four items of clothing at a time. If there is more than that the washer cuts off and no more water comes in. I recently had the water inlet valve changed for this same problem but it did not work. Is there something else that could be the problem?
You will want to check the unit to make sure that the pressure hose is not clogged and check the pressure switch for being bad. Also get the tech sheet from inside the unit and run a service diagnostics mode and see if there are any stored error codes. Also check the drain pump to make sure that there is nothing clogging it or the filter assembly.
My washer only fills with hot water, even when I put it on cold water cycle.
Answer Hello Tony,
If the cold water is not turned off and no screens are stopped up, the issue will be the water inlet valve 134371220 or the control 137005000.
My washer has a error DDO.
Answer Hello Hans. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please call 1-877-477-7278 or post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx
I just replaced the water intake valve and water gushes between that and housing unit when I start washer. It was stored over winter. I don't see any obvious cracks
There should be seals in the opening where the valve goes into the dispenser assembly. You will want to make sure that the seals are not bad. If so they are not available separately and you would need to get a new dispenser assembly.
My washer, model gltf2940fs1, has stopped working and no water goes in. The last load I washed, it did not make the last spin and the clothes were wet.
Answer Hello Jose,
If the machine drained the water but did not spin you either have a bad connection, a bad motor control board 134743500, or a bad motor 137043000. You should pull the tech sheet and run the diagnostic mode to pull the fault codes for more specific troubleshooting information.
How do you remove cracked water inlet and if any special tool for removal other then a regular household tool?
Answer Hello Leah! No special tools are needed. There are screws in the back of the washer to hold the top panel on. Remove those screws and slide the top panel off. Once the panel is removed you'll have access to the valve to remove and replace. Hope this information helps you, thanks!
