If the problem is the valve and I order a new one, does it come with the fittings that will work with my existing hoses or will this be an additional part I will need to order along with the valve?

Water leaks (sprays) from compression fitting on the water inlet valve at the most-right connector in the first photo above. when I use the door water dispenser and possibly when the ice tray fills. I have tried tightning the nut on the end of the hose, but that didn't help. The hose end looks alright and there doesn't appear to be any cracks in the valve either. How do I determine if it is the hose, connector or valve that is the issue? Which direction does water flow through this ports on this valve? My valve has threads and the hoses have nuts, how do the fittings on the new valve work?

Water runs out of icemaker. Would that be from water valve not shuting off at the right time, and causing it to run over?

I've been having a slow leak from my water dispenser for a couple years now. Before and after replacing water filters. Would this part be the problem? Thanks

Mt refrigerator was manufactured in August 2004 and the triple solenoid water valve has threaded inlets. The original part # is 240531101. I have ordered parts for it three times. The first time I was sent 24173402 which had no threads on the solenoid valves water inlets. The second and third parts were # 242252702 and while resembling the first shipment, it also does not have threads on the soldenoid water inlet valves. Am I suppossed to cut off the original tubing ends on those water inlet lines that have a plastic compression fitting and plastic nut on the ends and then just insert the cut ends into the new valve? My thanks.

Ice maker is not making ice and water is coming out of the water fill without the switch being depressed.

Ice maker has been making high pitched moaning sound intermittantly when cycling through the ice tray fill cycle, and now the water does not come to the tray at all. Still cycles through but no water. Water still comes with good stream to the water dispenser.

My ice maker is not working but the water dispenser is. I checked the continuity on the water inlet valve. The ice maker solenoid has only 280 OHMS. Is that considered to be too low and the valve needs replacing?

My water dispenser dispenses water at an excruciatingly slow rate. Ice machine works fine and I've changed the filter. I was experimenting with removing hoses into and out of the pump. The flow in appears to be quite good and when I take the filter out the flow is still pretty good, but once the filter is installed, it slows way down. The pump seems to sputter a lot, even after the air has passed through the system. Is the pump the problem? Thanks, Paul

Will this inlet valve work for a PLRS267ZAB2 model refrigerator? I can't find any parts for the AB2 version specifically. Thanks.
