Need to replace water valve. Where is it located so I can change it?
Answer Hello Jerry. Remove the toe panel from the bottom of the unit and look to the left. You should see the water valve on the left hand side of the unit.
No water is coming into dishwasher.
Answer Hello Elliot. If there is power to the dishwasher, and no water, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.
Replaced the water intake valve, but we have to prime it before it will start the cycle. What would be the problem now?
Answer Hello Debbie. It sounds like the water supply coming to it may be bad. If you have to prime the valve, it is losing water and pressure.
Is it necessary to hook dishwasher up to hot water? Does this model have a heater in it?
Answer Hello Jim. Yes, it must be hooked up to hot water. This model does have a heater.
Water goes in, water pumps out, soap not dissolved. dishes not cleaned. Wash pump makes loud noise. What is it? Then wash pump or the water pump/valve.
You will want to check the pump assembly to make sure that there is nothing clogged in the pump assembly. If there is a clog then you will want to clear the obstruction. Check the impeller to make sure that it is not damaged. If this checks ok then you will need to replace the wash motor.
