Which prong is negative and which positive? All I need to do now is connect the wires. Thanks
Answer Hello Allison. This is a parallel circuit. The wires can go either way. Hope this helps.

Water will not stop running in the dishwasher untill you cut off water. When you turn water back on the water stops running.
Answer Hello Frank. It sounds like the valve is the problem and will need to be replaced. When you turn off the water it removes the pressure, and the valve closes. Hope this helps.

My Frigidaire is leaking water at the bottom of the door, is this a seal problem and how to be sure what to look for ?.
There is a door seal at the bottom of the door which has most likely become faulty. The part number for the gasket is 809006501.
My Frigidaire dishwasher doesnt fill with water ,replaced water valve with new part #154637401 turned water back on, ran rinse ,still no water , could valve be bad?
Answer Hello Jim. You need to check the float and float switch in the dishwasher. If it is stuck in the up position, or the switch is bad, it will not fill with water.
I have a whirlpool dishwasher and it wont drain.
Answer Hello Renalda. You will test for power to the drain pump and look for clogs. If there is power there, replace the pump. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
I have an older Frigidaire dishwasher model number DW3400P*1. This unit has sat idle for about 4 years. I recently hooked it up, it has water in the supply line right to the machine however when I turn on the washer no water is dispensed. Could this be the inlet valve?
Answer Chris, Yes, the 154637401 would be a good place to start. Debris and deposits could have solidified on the screen and internal valve components and the valve won't open to let the water in. Also check and make sure the water level switch 5300809863 and float 154144301 are nut stuck in the up position, making the control think the tub is already full of water.
