I have a very old hotpoint range. I am unable to find a model #. The only thing I can find is the serial # and a catalog #. I have tried a 6inch replacement heating element but the plugin is about a inch too short. Can you help me with this problem?
Answer Hello David! Unfortunately, we'll need the model number to be able to guarantee a replacement part. I've narrowed the searches down on our site to show GE stove top coils (Hotpoint is owned by GE). If you purchase a part and it doesn't fit you have 365 days to return the part with our no hassle return policy. Here is the link to view the available parts. Hope it helps. Thanks. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/ge-range-top-coil.html
I have a 1965 GE range (J486A3DC) and need to replace the back both 8" burners and the front 6" burners. The front left coil is a Sensi-temp. Would this be the right size and fitting?
Answer Veronica, your model uses left rear burner part number WB30X342 right front burner part number WB30X342 and right rear burner part number WB30X341. The left front burner is part number WB30X357, unfortunately, it has been discontinued with no replacement. Sorry!
Need stove top elements with drip pans.
Answer Yvonne, the 6" element is part number 660532 and the 8" element is part number W10259865. For black drip pans use part numbers W10290353RW for the 6" and W10290350RW for the 8". For the grey drip pans use part number W10291024 which comes with a kit of two 6" and two 8" drip bowls. Thanks!
