Hello, My agitator stopped turning, I took it out and the bottom of the agitator was broken, so i thought that was the problem. I received the new one and put it on correctly, now it turns but very little. Can you help me know what should i replace instead? Thank you.

My agitator coupling bolt got loose, the agitator coupling is attached to the agitator and the complete assembly (agitator with the coupling) is out of the machine. The agitator coupling threads are worn out, I would need to replace it. The problem I am facing is how to remove the agitator coupling from the agitator. I see in some of the video they ask to put the complete assembly on the ground and hit the agitator coupling from top, however in my assembly I dont have access to the agitator coupling from top. The top part of the agitator is screwed to the bottom with four screws/bolts from underneath. Can you please suggest a way to remove the agitator coupling? Thanks, Alta

The upper agitator seems to be loose, as it wiggles around very easily, even with the washer off. Is there a way to replace just that, or does the entire agitator assembly need to be replaced in order for it to work properly? The lower half rests nicely on top of the coupling bell and spins properly, it's just the upper part. Thank you for your help!

My agitator seems broken. It turns fine at the bottom, but halfway up, its loose and doesn't turn properly when doing the wash. Is my solution just to purchase a new agitator? Or is there possibly more of a problem. Thanks for your help!

The video is not available on how to replaced the agitator for the GE hydrowave. Note I have the regular agitator #WH43X10034, not the flat agitator. How do I remove it? Is the tall agitator like mine bolted in? Thanks!

Like many others I have clothes caught under the agitator and need to take it off to free the draw strings of the pants. From reading other answer it looks like it might pull off (perhaps using a rope?) but didn't want to assume that if a bolt holds it in place. Unbolt or pull? Also, is there anything I can do to prevent this machine from eating things? Our old GE washer never did that! Thanks for your help!

Hi. I have this part on my washer that just doesn't want to come up. The came came off with a good hard tug but this piece is not wanting to come up. I have read some other posts where they say to put a rope under to help with leverage and pull up but nothing budged. Can you help? Thanks :)

We are constantly getting lint on our clothes from the washing machine. Already tried the basic troubleshooting tips. Think we might have to clean the lint trap. Guessing it's somewhere in the agitator. How can I remove the agitator in this model to get to the lint trap? If there's a screw, then it is difficult to get to because underneath the fabric softener assembly is a hard round plastic cap that I can't get out from the center of the agitator assembly. Thank you for any help you can provide.
