Kathy S for Model Number GE Wall Oven -- J KP14WOT1WW
Answer Hello Kathy, for the bake element, order part# WB44K5013. Your broil element is part# WB44K5009. Thanks!
Everytime I put this model no. it comes up as 1shsa or 2shsa or 3shsa or 4shsa. I dont have that on my paper. Is that the same to order or should I use the ge part no? It looks like my element.
Shirley B. for Model Number RB790ShSA
Answer Shirley, the model RB790SHSA is missing a digit and would not be located on paperwork but on the appliance itself on the model tag. However, all models use the same bake element. You will use part number WB44K10005. Thanks!
OVEN DOES NOT GO FROM PREHEAT TO BAKE BUT BROIL WORKS
Jeff for Model Number RB79OS
Answer Jeff, You're on the right track, You could have a bad bake element, but if you have a multimeter, you should check for 240 VAC across the two wires at the element in a bake cycle, that way you're sure the control bake relay is OK. Good Luck.
