How to identify what mother board you have? Mine was replaced but does not function correctly. Inverter compressor will only run on low at all times. Both the inverter & mother board were replaced at same time also FF fan will only turn on for 15 sec.
The correct main control board for your unit is part number WR55X10956 and the correct inverter board for your unit is part number WR49X10283. You want to make sure that if there are instructions in the box for the parts that you follow the instructions or it may not work correctly.
The main control board wr55xl0956 has a burnt spot on it. U15 I believe just wanted to know what u15 did?

I have a GE side by side refrigerator Model #GE PSS26PSWASS. My problem is both freezer and fridge are not cooling correctly, they are unable to maintain proper temperatures. Even we adjusted the front panel ( the temp. set at -18? for the freezer and 3? for the fridge), the problem was still not solved. For the freezer usually keeps at -7?, the fridge is at 8?. The lowest temp. for the freezer came to -14? few times, and for the fridge is at 7?. Would you please give me some suggestions ASAP? Thank you!
You will want to check the thermistors in the unit for proper resistance. Also check the damper in the refrigerator compartment to ensure that the damper is opening and closing. Check the rear freezer wall to ensure that it is not frosting up and causing air flow restriction. Check the evaporator fan motor for proper operation.
