Is broiler element wb44t10009 the correct replacement element for this GE oven?
Answer Hello Tom! Yes, broil element part number WB44T10009 is the correct replacement listed for your model. Thanks!
Replace unit broil, But not working..Had a spark forgot to unplug oven..could a fuse be blow..Please advise
You will want to check the clock assembly between L1 and broil to see if there is 240 vac. If there is not 240 then the clock is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
Is this the correct broiler element for my oven?
Answer Hello Warren, the correct broil element for your model number is part number WB44T10009. Thanks!
My replacement element back bracket does not have a hole for the screw to attach the thermostat. Can I just put the bracket for thermostat behind the bracket for the broiler element and use it to hold the thermostat?
Answer Hello Jon, You did not provide a valid model number for your oven so I'm not sure if you have an electronic oven control or a mechanical oven control. The broil element is simply mounted to the back of the oven using two screws. Just attach the wires and mount it. Regarding the "thermostat", are you talking about an oven senser or capillary tube? An oven sensor usually has a bracket that is used for mounting. A capillary tube usually mounts with a clip. You should NOT mount the capillary tube or oven sensor to the broil element bracket. If you can get back to us with a valid model number, we can likely help you further. Hope this helps!
