Refrigerator does not get colder when turning up the thermostat control knob. Freezer part is OK. Fan is working and compressor to the touch vibrates. However, loud thumping noise several times a day and a slow water drip coming from inside refrigerator top right where it looks like a drain hole. I use a small bowl to gather the water from inside. Thanks

My GE Profile Refrigerator makes a loud noise (thumping sound) at the end of it's cycle. It is consistent at the end of every cycle. Sounds like something is loose or coming loose ? The unit freezer and refrigerator work fine. The sound is bothersome and started a couple of months ago. The unit was purchased in 1996.

Thank you. Curious...is it dangerous to pull out fridge (will it disconnect anything generally)? I have the model number listed above, any chance you know what the water line color is or what it looks like or how you shut off the water? Thank you!

I have had this fridge for 15 years, know nothing about fridges =-) and assume any water lines are on. I was thinking if there was ANYTHING connected to the ice maker that I can turn off, I would like to so that will stop that as a possible cause. Not sure where it is or how to do so. I don't want to hurt the fridge either (assume water lines isn't used for anything else? Feel free to email me directly if easier. THANKS!!!

I have the model number tbx18sixjrww fridge and freezer and it is leaking from the bottom and I don't know why. Just to note my ice maker doesn't work anymore, so I wasn't sure if that was the reason. I do have the arm up at stop, but still leaks. Is there any way to turn ice maker OFF. Why else would it be leaking from the bottom (just find pools of water coming from under it seems.) Also, I couldn't find the icemaker section for parts using this model number. Just hade the freezer parts. I just want to turn it off bc it is clearly broken/frozen over or something.
