Have to hit the power button many times before it works. Hit the button to change the spin speed and the "soil level" changes. Hit the START button and the Delay start kicks in. So frustrating!!!

The on off switch seems to work fine but when I push start nothing happens. I unplug and plug back in and push start and it does fine. I have to do this for each load. Control module or something else?

My washer goes through the wash cycle, but when it comes to the rinse - spin cycle it freezes, but the clock is still counting down. Why is that?

Hi, Recently, my GE front loader showed some issues where it kept kicking out of a wash cycle and the Service Test Mode revealed E22 errors. I ran T07 and T08 and it never did finish T08 after 30 minutes. I checked the screens and cleared a bit of debris on the Hot valve, it ohm-med correctly, but the issue still kept re-occurring whenever hot water was needed (not cold) so I just replaced the valve assembly. All was well for a few cycles until another couple of kick-outs and I saw E22 and E31 codes. I had recently cleared the pump screen, but did it again anyways (I found a quarter, so it was at least feasible that this could be the issue). After very few (maybe even the next one) the washer kicked out, but this time, refused to power back on, or even enter Service Test Mode. As the service manual says this can happen if there is a bad water level switch, I checked continuity for switch states on the Foam, Main, and Overflow switches and found it reading correct as the tub was full (Open, Closed, Open). Further, I drained the tub and was very surprised to see the switch states had changed to Closed, Open, Open, or correctly indicating the tub was empty. For the heck of it, I pulled the pump, which ohmmed correctly and seemed to spin fine, with no obvious debris or damage. My hunch is telling me its a bad control board, but i can't prove it and before I drop $300 on a new one and its not the problem, I would like a second opinion or other things to try as I am now beyond the Service Manual. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I just replaced the spin tub on my washer and reassembled everything. When I turned it on and set it to the "rinse and spin" cycle, the door lock mechanism made a series of electronic sounding clicks as if it was unable to lock the door then the pump turned on and ran continuously until about 30 seconds after I pressed the on/off button. The door remains partially locked as I cannot open it with the handle but I can pry it open with a screwdriver. I have double checked all the wires and connectors and all seem to be intact, tight and in the correct locations. What else can I check? I assume the control panel is ok since it's giving a signal to the door lock mechanism? Could the door lock mechanism be bad? Or an alignment issue? Thanks for your help.

My washer starts the cycle, stops on the number 19 (Min???), and the Start/Pause button starts to blink. I have to push that button for the door to lock and the cycle to restart. It will continue through the cycle and stop again at the number 12 (Min???). The Start/Pause button starts to blink and I have to push it again for the cycle to restart. At the end of the wash the clothes are still really wet so I have to put it through the "Drain and Spin Cycle". Do I have a control board issue?

The Washer only Locks door and waits. Then after a couple minutes it runs the drain pump which sounds like it is rattling. Nothing is trapped in it. No Spin or Water Intake. Tub is completely empty. I also cleaned the door switch and Level Sensor. Thank you.
