Ice maker cup fill Part Number WR29X10092 was shipped to me, but this part the cup fill holder is to long and the ice maker screw holes do not line up. Is there a modification I need to do to make this larger cup fill holder work?
Answer Hello Mike! The icemaker fill cup WR29X10092 is a direct replacement from the manufacture to fit your appliance. However, we are showing that the icemaker as well has been redesigned and this may have to be purchased to fit the fill cup. Part number is WR30X10093. Thanks.
I can not find the part that cut's of the icemaker when the bin is full, ice go's all over the place
Answer Darrell, Your particular ice maker assembly, does not have a "standard" "bail arm" 68112-1 to turn off the icemaker. Your sensor arm is the "white paddle" that attaches to the bottom of the icemaker assembly WR30X10093 If the paddle is missing, you will need to replace the complete icemaker assembly. Here's how the feeler arm works " The feeler arm moves horizontally. A full ice bucket will prevent the arm from moving out to the fully extended position, stopping the next harvest cycle until ice cubes are removed and the arm is able to swing out completely". Good Luck and Thanks
My ice maker never quits. I can raise the shutoff arm and make it stop. Is this supposed to have auto shutoff or is that an option that is available?
Answer Hello Harvey. If the unit stops with the arm raised, but wont shut off automatically, you will need to make sure the ice bucket is large enough for the ice to reach the arm of the ice maker. Hope this helps.
Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
I have a GE Monogram bottom freezer refrigerator and the cup fill IM (part # AP3187472) is detached. Since visibility of ice maker is limited I need to know where and how it is installed.
Answer Hello Tom. This clips to the icemaker, where the fill tube comes down. Hope this helps.
