I only need the right side of the detergent part. Can you purchase this separately?
Answer Hello Denise! Unfortunately, the dispenser, part number WD12X10163, only comes as an assembly. Thanks.
I took the soap dispenser lid off to get rid of soap build up. Now I cannot get it back on so that it works properly. Is there a way to see a demonstration of how to properly re-install the cap? Or do I replace the whole thing, even though it works? Part WD12X10163
Answer Chris, Individual parts for the dispenser are no longer available, if there is a broken or missing component in the dispenser, you will need to replace the complete assembly. You can check the left side(lid open) hinge pin and spring, make sure the pin is seated as far as possible and the end of the spring is in position to maintain tension on the lid.
Having trouble with the dispenser leaving detergent packets 1/2 used. When I put the dishwasher into Service Mode, Key#3 for the Detergent/Rinse Aide Module does not do anything (no sounds from the dishwasher). Is this the right part for the problem?
Answer Hello Shane,
You should first make sure the unit is filling properly. If it is, check for anything that would hamper water circulation, (clogged holes in the spray arms, separating spray arms, damaged or missing docking cone, stopped up filters, etc.). If no problems are located and the dispenser door is not blocked and opening freely, check the water heating circuit. If still no problems are located, replace the control WD21X10247.
I have problems with the soap dispenser on my dishwasher Model GSD6900J10CC. The door will not lock. What part shall I replace it with? Do instructions come with the part?
To correct the issue with the door latch on the dispenser not locking, you will need to replace the dispenser assembly. There are not instructions that come with the part but is relatively easy to do. You would start by shutting off the power to the unit. Once the power is off, open the dishwasher door and remove the screws holding the inner door in place. With the screws out, lift the inner door up. There will be screws that hold the dispenser assembly in place that will need to be removed. Disconnect the wire harness and remove the dispenser and install the new one.
