My wheels keep breaking. Actually it may be the axles that are breaking. Do I need to just replace the axle. The wheels appear to be okay. It looks like the axle that you have in stock is not the same as the one on my dishwasher. Have the axles been updated? My dishwasher is 8 years old and the axles break easily. Do the new replacement axles work well and last longer? Or would it be wise to order both new wheels and axles as my wheels may not be the same?
Answer Hello Bob! If the axles are staying attached to the rollers and only falling from the rack I would suggest replacing the axles only. Inspect the rollers to ensure they are not becoming defective, if they are replace the part. The lower rack axle is part number WD12X10277 and the roller is part number WD12X10136. The lower rack axles are manufactured replacements and may look different than the original axles currently on your unit now. The upper rack axle is part number WD12X10141 and the roller is part number [AP3741162, these are original parts. Thanks!
When you open the door, on the left hand side of the dishwasher where the water comes out, there is a cap or something missing on my dishwasher. When I wash dishes the detergent isn't dispensing. Please help.
Answer Hello Pat,
First, I need you to double check the model number as the one here isn't valid. Next, is the unit actually filling with water? Normally if the detergent isn't dispensing, the unit either isn't getting water or it isn't circulating the water. Check and see if the missing cap is stuck under the float for the float switch. Is the detergent dispenser opening? I just need a bit more information to help you properly. Thank you.
It's NOT the rollers attached to the sides of the dishwasher. A big plastic piece hooks onto and holds the top drawer itself. The plastic piece has a metal bar attached and WHEELS/ ROLLERS SCREW onto the bar at each end. These wheels roll inside the rails allowing the drawer to slide out evenly. The rails are fine! I NEED ONE OF THE SCREWABLE WHEELS/ ROLLERS. The tip on the wheel that accepts the screw has broken off. The screwable roller/ wheel is what I need but can't find in your parts list. Please help!!! Answer Georgia, A couple of things, First, If you look closely, I think you'll find that the wheels are "rivetted" on the metal support leg, not screwwed on. There are several rack adjuster versions, and they aren't interchangeable, and a couple have been discontinued, so it's very important to have the model number off the serial plate, located in the top, left hand side of the tub flange or door, to assist you properly. Thanks and good Luck
