What is the correct part number for the door seal for this GE dishwasher please?
Bob W. for Model Number GD3455FOOCC
Answer Bob, the door gasket is part number WD08X10057. If needed, the insert is part number WD08X10015. Thanks!
Dishwasher was leaking at bottom of door, approx 2 oz. I replaced the old gasket WD08X10016 and insert WD08X10015 but still get a leak sometimes. Is there something else, of did I not install it correctly?
Hugh for Model Number Gasket WD08X10016
Answer Hugh,
You will need to check at the bottom of the inner door to see if there is a gasket located there and see if it is damaged. If not then also check your spray arms to make sure that they are not clogged cracked or damaged. If so then you will need to replace the spray arm.
Is door gasket WD8X10016 interchangable/compatible with WD08X0220?
Bob for Model Number 363.1402191
Answer Bob, WD08X0220 (WD8X229) can not be used in place of WD8X10016 (WD08X10016) as the manufacturer does not offer this as a cross reference or replacement. Sorry about that!
I have a leak on the bottom of the door what part# or seal do I need?
Rebel for Model Number GDWF100R30BB
Answer Hello Rebel, You likely need to replace the door seal which is part of the inner door assembly WD31X10042. The seal itself is not sold separately. Hope this helps!
Please tell me how to install the gasket on my dishwasher. The instruction that you have enclosed with the gasket isn't too clear. The copy seems blurry.
thanks

Answer Hello Cheng. Disconnect the power and remove the rack from the bottom of the unit. With the door open, grasp the gasket at the top center of the door and pull straight out and remove the gasket from the door. To remove the gasket tails, you will grasp the tails and pull down toward the tub of the unit. Next, you will remove the two screws at the bottom of the door. This will allow the door liner to flex just enough to use your fingers and locate the track on the back of the liner. Unroll the new gasket WD08X10016 and locate the notch in the center of the gasket. Match the notch to the center rib on the top of the dishwasher door. Press gasket firmly into the track of the door and make sure the bottom of the gasket is seated properly into the track at the bottom of the door. You will need to raise the inner panel to place the gasket into the track at the bottom. Reinstall the two bottom door screws and the lower rack assembly. Turn power back on. Hope this helps.
