This unit is going on 10 years old and has stopped cooling. I noticed before it finally stopped working, one day it would chill then the next it wasn't. I verified voltage is present at the compressor when temperature knob is selected. Compressor sounds as if it's running and the evaporator fan is running as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a new refrigerator that makes a gurgling noise in the freezer when the compressor is running. I suspect it is a refrigerant sound. I unplugged the refrigerator while it was making the noise, and the sound continued for a few seconds after it was unplugged. Is it possible to reposition the capillary tube to make a difference? Any Ideas ?

The ice has a metallic taste. There doesn't seem to be a filter. The taste changed when the original copper tubing was replaced with a flexible refrigerator water line. The line is similar to a regular flexible line for a faucet. Would a part be missing or need to be replaced? I didn't do the replacement myself so I'm not sure if anything important was left off. The taste has been the same for over 3 months with plenty of ice being made and thrown out.

The machine had not been used for some time. The pump motor was frozen up. I removed and cleaned it up, but , even though it works, it is very noisy. It seems to pump adequate water, but it does not make enough ice. (1/3 of a bin at most). could anything else be bad on the unit. I want to replace the pump, but only if nothing else is wrong. Your opinion please. Thanks Galen

My drier part is covered in ice and the wine cooler doesn't get cold. What does this mean. How do I know if this is the only part that needs replaced or do I need more parts. Cooler is at least 8 years old. Is it worth replacement parts or should I dump it? Also I noticed large black enclosed moter next to it seemd very hot.
