Does the ribbed side of this belt or the flat side of the belt face the dryer tumbler. In other words after the job is done and I look down on the top of the tumbler will I see the ribbed or the flat side of the belt?

Answer Hello Bob. The belt WE12X49P needs to be installed where the ribs on the belt match the grooves on the motor pulley. The manufacture does not say which way they will face to the drum, only that they should match the grooves in the pulley. Hope this helps.
