Belt broke. Replace belt but it want to walk off the wheel which has some wobble to it. Also found some black garbage in the filter but that could be from the kids.
Answer Hello Gary,
This sounds like the spinner support or the spin bearing is bad on your unit. To check, open the door and push upwards on the inner tub. Turn it a bit and try it again. Turn it again and try it again. If you try it in 1/3 turn increments and find one spot with excessive movement, the spinner support is damaged. If it feels rough when you are turning the inner basket, the bearing has failed. If the first is true, you will need to replace the rear outer tub assembly WH45X10071 and the spin basket assembly WH45X10079. If the second is true, you will only need to replace the rear outer tub assembly.
When the machine is washing it makes a loud noise especially the spinning cycle and the rubber around the washer door is busted. I would like to know where the filter is located on the washing machine.
The filter on the washer would be in the drain pump at the bottom of the washer. As far as the noise that you are experiencing, if the noise is a roaring type noise then the issue would be bad bearing in the rear tub WH45X10071.
I bought a belt for my washer and it shows a number different from the original belt. The number from the original belt is PJE 1303 and the new belt is PJE 1300 it is little bit smaller then the original, is this okay ?
Answer Jesus, The replacement belt WH08X10024 is correct and fine, based on the model number you supplied. Replacement belts on all front load washers appear to be too small and can be a bit difficult to install, but this is "Normal". "Per Factory Measures 48.4" At Rest & 51.2" When Working". As you can see there is some "stretch" in the belt when the washer is operating.
I need to order a drive belt for this washer. What is the correct part number?
Answer Hello! The replacement drive belt listed for your model is part number WH08X10024. Thanks!
My washer machine tub makes a lot of noise, and the belt broke off. A fragments from the washer clog the pump I cleaned the pump need to know what part I need to keep the basket from making noise.
It sounds like you may require both inner and out tubs on your washer. It sounds as though the spinner support may have broken which is on the inner tub. If this has occurred then it most likely has damaged the bearings of the outer tub and damaged the front tub as well.
Received replacement belt WH08X10024. old belt says 7PJE1303. new belt says 7PJE1300. they look the same size, but cannot get the belt on. seems small. is the correct way -start at the bottom and go from the left and turn clockwise?
The way to get the belt on is to put it on the motor pulley first. Once you have it on the motor pulley then you will start it around the tub pulley and making sure that you hold it, spin the tub pulley away from where the belt is on the pulley as to turn it on and it will go on but you have to hold it as you do this.
Is the drive pulley supposed to be tight or have some play in it?
Answer Hello De. It should be tight. If loose, the bearings may be bad and need to be replaced on the unit.
