Answer To take the cabinet off. Disconnect the dryer from the electrical outlet. This will prevent shock that could result in death. In the back of the dryer, near the bottom, you will see a lower panel; unscrew and pull the panel away. If the model is older, you will need to remove the drum bearing inspection plate which is located in the center back of your dryer. Remove the plate that is held in place by one single screw. Set the screw to the side. Remove the front panel of the dryer. With older models, there will be two spring clips under the cabinet top, one on each side. Using a putty knife, slip the putty knife into the gap at the spring clip. Push the spring clip back to release the spring clips. Lift up on the cabinet top. In newer models, screws join the cabinet front panel to the cabinet top. Open the door of the dryer to find the screws and remove them. Loosen the two screws found in each side of the bottom panel. At the top of the panel there will be two screws, remove them. Remove the two screws which you loosened in the bottom panel and set them aside. Disconnect the group of wires connecting the door. Lift the front panel off the dryer and set it aside. Hope this help!

Answer Hello Mike,
You will need one WE3M26, one WE25M40, and four WE1M504. If you want to replace the idler pulley while you're in there, this part number is WE12X83.
Will I be able to operate a dryer without a front drum bearing ring?, just until I can order the new ring.
Brandon
Answer Brandon,
It is not recommended to operate dryer without the front drum bearing ring. Without it there could be possible other damage done to unit.
Top of cabinet was getting to hot and now dryer has stop heating.

Answer Robert,
You will want to test the thermal fuse for failure. If the thermal fuse fails then the unit will not heat. If it has failed then you will want to check the venting from the blower wheel all the way to the outside of your home for clogging. A clogged vent is one of the most common reasons for failure of the thermal fuse WE4M137.
We are ordering the front support bearing for this dryer. The order form reads that we need a set 4 guides. We cannot find this to order them. Are they called something else on your site.?

Answer Dave, The parts are referred to as "Bearing Slide" WE1M1067(green) and WE1M504(white) You will need two(2) of each. The green colored slides will attach to the top portion (10 and 2 o'clock positions) and the white slides at the (3 and 9 o'clock positions).
The drum wore through the dryer drum front support bearing. How do I replace this and how many bearing slides do I need? All are missing.
Bob for Model Number DPSR610EGOWT
Answer Hello Bob,
You will need two WE1M1067 and two WE1M504. The two green ones go to the top and the two white ones go to the outside. The bearing is most likely in need of replacement since all of the glides are missing. This part number is WE3M26 and will be required since it is responsible for holding the glides in position. The front drum support bearing simply snaps into the frame of the front panel. The only thing that makes it difficult is if the unit has a light in the drum. In this case, be sure to remove the light bulb before beginning because you WILL break the bulb trying to remove the bearing assembly.
