On the water valves you have a blue & red terminal one for the water despenser & the other for the ice maker its not labled which is whch but you trace the hoses the blue is for the water despenser & the red is for the ice maker. When checking the ohm the blue reads 0 & the red only reads between 185 & 189 What is the correct ohm reading on the valve terminals. & is the blue one the water despenser? Note the ice maker is working properly but the water despenser does not work. I think I should replace the duel water valve what is your opinion?

The water in the door is leaking, am able to shut off same at the wall. I'm assuming that the problem is in the water valve. It appears my refrigerator has two water valves. (Bottom left as I look at the back of the refrigerator) Is the DUAL WATER VALVE KIT P/N AP3672839 compatible with this model?? I'm thinking I'll go ahead and replace both valves while I'm at it. If this is NOT the correct valve, what do you suggest?? Many thanks in advance. Steve

I have a side by side refrigerator and inside the door it has the following listings for the model. DFX22R, TFXW22R and TFH22R My ice-maker works when I add the water to it but the water supply valve does not seem to be working. I get water through the door but not to the ice-maker. Do I need the dual water inlet valve replaced with part # AP3672839; MFG part # WR57X10051 from GE? Please advise.

I replaced the water inlet valve last summer. I noticed the floor wet last night, it looks like the tube that inserts into the ice side of the solenoid cracked. so every time the ice cycles it would spray water. the question is a piece of tube that cracked off is still stuck in the solenoid. is there a way it can be removed safely without ruining the part or do I have to replace the part completely?
