We have an 11 year old GE side by side and had the ice maker replaced a couple days ago. Approximately how long should it take to make a full box of ice? It is about 2/3 to 3/4 full after 2 days. Thank you.

My ice maker is not making ice. I have replaced the filter and have water to the dispenser in the freezer door. For the last year, the icemaker would not shut off making ice, so I would turn it on and off using the power switch. Is it likely that I now need a new icemaker, or could their be another problem?

Previously you told me to cycle the icemaker...what do you mean by that? How do I do that? Unfortunately, I have the Multi-meter but don't know how to use it and don't have instructions. Can you direct me on how to use it?

My icemaker inside the freezer (no door water/ice dispenser). It is not getting water. I added water to the icemaker and it made ice and dumped it. Water appears to be getting to top of the freezer but will not enter the icemaker. I did notice that there is a small leak where the water hose enters the freezer. I thought it might have been frozen and applied heat from a hair dryer but this did not solve the problem. Is there a valve up there and/or do I have to replace the entire unit??? Thank you

I have a GE S/S refrigerator freezer, 24CF & OVR. It is not letting water into the ice maker but the water dispenser in the door works fine. The water line for the door came off and I reconnected it and it is working good. I checked you tube and most of the info says the ice maker motor has stopped working. Before I order this I'd like to make sure it isn't a solenoid in the back that allows the water to flow into the ice maker or is it the ice maker motor? Model No. TFX28PBDA WW, serial no. MZ278483.

Hey there! My fridge has a sticker on the back that says: "This refrigerator will accept accessory icemaker UK-KIT-4 or IM-1." Will this kit work with it?

Does the feller paddle move away for the ice maker or remain stationary under the unit? Purchased new unit AP4345120 and paddle is under unit and does not make full contact with ice to shut the ice maker down when bin is full. If it does move out, there must be a trick to accomplish this.

I Purchased from Appliance parts pro a new ice maker kit #AP4345120 . Installation was simple and is making an abundant amount of ice. Problem is the maker will not shut down when ice bin is full. Manually shutting off and on as needed. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

My ice maker is not making ice. I have forced a cycle in the ice maker by turning off and then back on again and pressing the paddle arm 3times within 15 seconds and watched the ice maker cycle. However, in the process no water was dispensed into the ice maker. I am getting in a glass from the dispenser in the freezer door. How can I get water from the door yet no water will fill the ice maker?
