We have an 11 year old GE side by side and had the ice maker replaced a couple days ago. Approximately how long should it take to make a full box of ice? It is about 2/3 to 3/4 full after 2 days. Thank you.

My ice maker is not making ice. I have replaced the filter and have water to the dispenser in the freezer door. For the last year, the icemaker would not shut off making ice, so I would turn it on and off using the power switch. Is it likely that I now need a new icemaker, or could their be another problem?

Previously you told me to cycle the icemaker...what do you mean by that? How do I do that? Unfortunately, I have the Multi-meter but don't know how to use it and don't have instructions. Can you direct me on how to use it?

My icemaker inside the freezer (no door water/ice dispenser). It is not getting water. I added water to the icemaker and it made ice and dumped it. Water appears to be getting to top of the freezer but will not enter the icemaker. I did notice that there is a small leak where the water hose enters the freezer. I thought it might have been frozen and applied heat from a hair dryer but this did not solve the problem. Is there a valve up there and/or do I have to replace the entire unit??? Thank you

I have a 7/8 year old GE refrigerator. The Ice maker does not work and no water comes from the water dispenser. Do I need a new Ice Maker or is their maybe another cause?

I have an ice maker problem. The part number in question is WR30X0328. Water is being filled in the unit way too often causing it to overflow. I do not know if the ice cube maker calls for the water or does something in the refrigerator does. I know the water valve is working well because the water is called for and then stops. So my first question is does this sound like an ice maker problem? The other question is about the replacement you offer. My unit has a fill cup on the far right side which is filled by a tube from the back. I can understand how this unit will work as a replacement for mine. How is that accomplished. I know I could not accommodate the fill cup in the location shown in the video because there is no room as the ice maker is mounted to the back of the fridge. Thank you.

I have a GE refrigerator, only about 3 years old. The arm seems to be stuck in the back position, will not move forward. The ice maker is making a little sound likes it wants to work. I tried turning the switch off and waiting and then moving the arm 3 times to see if it would reset, no luck. Used a hair dryer to heat things up, still no luck, arm still stuck in that one position. Thanks. Carl
