We have an 11 year old GE side by side and had the ice maker replaced a couple days ago. Approximately how long should it take to make a full box of ice? It is about 2/3 to 3/4 full after 2 days. Thank you.

My ice maker is not making ice. I have replaced the filter and have water to the dispenser in the freezer door. For the last year, the icemaker would not shut off making ice, so I would turn it on and off using the power switch. Is it likely that I now need a new icemaker, or could their be another problem?

Previously you told me to cycle the icemaker...what do you mean by that? How do I do that? Unfortunately, I have the Multi-meter but don't know how to use it and don't have instructions. Can you direct me on how to use it?

My icemaker inside the freezer (no door water/ice dispenser). It is not getting water. I added water to the icemaker and it made ice and dumped it. Water appears to be getting to top of the freezer but will not enter the icemaker. I did notice that there is a small leak where the water hose enters the freezer. I thought it might have been frozen and applied heat from a hair dryer but this did not solve the problem. Is there a valve up there and/or do I have to replace the entire unit??? Thank you

I have this ice maker unit OEM installed as part of my GE refrigerator. The refrigerator is fed from my RO water supply. The cubes seem to be connected to each other just slightly when dispensed. Is there a "cube size"/"water fill time" adjustment for this ice maker to prevent this as there is on many other styles of ice makers? Thanks.

Previously, the water was feeding the ice maker and overflowing into the ice bin, creating a huge block of ice. I replaced the ice maker and now the water won't feed it. The water dispenser works so I don't know where the problem is.

The refrigerator is around 18 years old. The ice maker works good except for the cube closest to the water valve. It hangs and must be manually removed. If not removed, the maker stops. What can be done or should the ice maker be replaced?
