We have an 11 year old GE side by side and had the ice maker replaced a couple days ago. Approximately how long should it take to make a full box of ice? It is about 2/3 to 3/4 full after 2 days. Thank you.

My ice maker is not making ice. I have replaced the filter and have water to the dispenser in the freezer door. For the last year, the icemaker would not shut off making ice, so I would turn it on and off using the power switch. Is it likely that I now need a new icemaker, or could their be another problem?

Previously you told me to cycle the icemaker...what do you mean by that? How do I do that? Unfortunately, I have the Multi-meter but don't know how to use it and don't have instructions. Can you direct me on how to use it?

My icemaker inside the freezer (no door water/ice dispenser). It is not getting water. I added water to the icemaker and it made ice and dumped it. Water appears to be getting to top of the freezer but will not enter the icemaker. I did notice that there is a small leak where the water hose enters the freezer. I thought it might have been frozen and applied heat from a hair dryer but this did not solve the problem. Is there a valve up there and/or do I have to replace the entire unit??? Thank you

My ice maker is not making ice. I have forced a cycle in the ice maker by turning off and then back on again and pressing the paddle arm 3times within 15 seconds and watched the ice maker cycle. However, in the process no water was dispensed into the ice maker. I am getting in a glass from the dispenser in the freezer door. How can I get water from the door yet no water will fill the ice maker?

I just received my new Ice maker kit (WR30X10093) and the instructions in the manual tells me to remove the stripper plate from the new kit and replace with the stripper plate out of the old ice maker. my question is "why is this necessary" it seems they would be the same, thanks

My GE Profile side by side ice maker continues to make ice, even when the bin is totally overflowing. The small metal arm, which is supposed to turn off the icemaker when ice level gets high, no longer clicks up or responds to the ice level. Thus, the ice bin just keeps filling. I have to manually lift the metal bar which stops ice production, then remember to lower it again when ice level gets low.. Any idea of a fix for this? Is there a part I need, or does the entire thing have to be replaced? Thanks.
