We ordered the part from sears but the old element won't come out. how do we get it out to install new element.
There is a screw that holds the element in place. You remove the power to the unit and remove the screws. You then pull the element out making sure that the wires when disconnected to not fall back into the hole. Once you connect the new element you put it back in and put the screw back in and turn on power.
