Is there a faucet for this washer with female threads? It looks like the WD1X1447 adapter has male threads on it.
Answer Hello Gary,
I googled more pictures of this adaptor WD1X1447 and it appears to have threads on the inside AND outside, probably to fit multiple applications.
My unicoupler pops off from the faucet, under pressure. It snaps onto adapter tight but will not hold under pressure. What is causing this to happen and what do I need to fix this problem?
Answer Doug, The faucet adapter WD1X1447 may not help, but it won't hurt either, but it is a good idea to replace it.
The more likely issue is in the coupler WD35X194 itself. The locking tabs inside the coupler may not be "seating" and locking onto the faucet adapter. the coupler slide may not be reaching it's full extension and locking the tabs onto the adapter as well. Applying a little grease to the tabs and the coupler slide may relieve the issue, otherwise you'll need to order the Unicouple kit WD35X194
The thread size on the inside of my faucet spout is 15/16". Will this adaptor screw into that size?
Unfortunately we do no have information on the thread size of the adapter. This will fit standard size faucets.
Have maytag portable dishwasher. Adapater wont fit new faucet we had installed. Now what do we do?
Answer Hello Mike! We only have what the manufacturer parts listed to fit your dishwasher. When it comes to faucet adapters it is best to purchase at a home hardware or plumbing store. This way you can match it up with your home faucet and the dishwasher. Thanks.
