I only see a water filter by GE offered through you web site as: AP3418061 It looks extremely long. Is it compatible and can you give me the length of this filter? The one in my GE unit now is model: MWF. Thanks.

I have purchased 2 different appliances. I have found the registration cards for both, however, there are model numbers in which I can't remember which goes with which? Could you assist me in matching the model numbers with each appliance. I purchased a cooktop and a refrigerator. GLEC36S8EB1 and FPHC2399KF1. Thanks!

Where can I find the appliance model number? My second concern is that my refrigerator has water leaking at the bottom it. Will this have something to do with the water filter needing replacing?

How many filters are in the package for the listed price? The photo shows a filter and a box. The price offered for one filter seems more expensive than others I have seen.

The picture shows a filter and a box. Are there one or two filters included in the part? Seems expensive for one filter, but about right if there are two.

Where does that filter go in the inside of the fridge or in the back? Because I don't see where it belongs.

How do I know if the filter, ( Part Number: AP3418061 ) needs to be replaced? How do I test it? My icemaker is only filling 1-2 cubes at a time, and I am wondering if the filter is plugged, so it is preventing water to flow thru valve, into the tray. Either way, how does one check the filter? What is its life?
