Answer Hi Sebastian. Remove the tub filter cover. Remove the wire mesh fine filter. Remove the lower kick plate. Remove the upper filter clamp. Unclasp the sump filter by using e screwdriver carefully and unclasp it from the inside of the tub. Lift it up and out. If you are unable to then you need to remove the whole sump inlet assy. part # 505. Loosen the lt. clamp and the fwd clamp that holds it to the motor inlet. Be prepared for water drainage. Remove it from the pump inlet hose. Replace the filter in reverse steps. Thank You.
My GE Triton XL mid spray arm isn't turning. How do I fix it? Thanks.
Audrey for Model Number GSD6900J00WW
Answer Hello Audrey. You need to check the water level inside the unit and make sure the water is reaching the bottom of the heater. If not, you will need to replace the water valve WD15X10003 on the unit. If the water level is low, it will prevent the water from having enough pressure to supply the system and turn the spray arms.

Answer Ron, You will need to remove the inlet cover inside the dishwasher. Then remove the old sump filter. It pulls out of the sump assembly. Slide the new one in place and reinstall the inlet cover. Both covers are "snap" fitting and relatively easy to remove and replace. Good Luck and Thanks
Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
