My oven ignitor is bad. The parts list calls out for a GE WB2X9154 round style, I have a GE WB13K21 square style. It fits the mounting bracket and lights the oven. Is there an operational difference that could cause an issue?

I replaced the ignitor, and now it the oven takes at least one minute to ignite. I smell the gas prior to it igniting. I read that you mentioned a safety valve. Is the gas valve supposed to stay closed until the ignitor is hot enough? just wondering if that could be a problem, or is it normal to have the gas smell.

It takes gas almost five-min. to light after igniter comes on with merely an orange glow. So I think a new igniter might be in order since I believe a healthy igniter should come on with either a yellow or white glow. Please provide the following information: 1) What is current range for this igniter to work effectively? 2) I can't locate any reference to the Chambers Model # HBO-246390. What part no./mfg is suitable for this chambers double oven? 3) What is price of this igniter ... as I may need to replace all three of them? Thanks, Romano

The oven will not light. The igniters glow, but only draw 2.7 amps and they are to draw 3.3 to 3.6 amps to allow the gas valve to open. Would I be correct in thinking the igniters need to be replaced?

My oven will not ignite and when I took the igniter out I don't see any visible crack or damage. Could the igniter still be bad?

Recently my wife had the igniter in our Hotpoint range replace. The service company used a GE WB2X9998 igniter, however the oven seems to take too long to ignite ( approximately) up too 1 minute from the time you turn the oven temp knob. Additionally when I look at the glow it seems to be yellow/orange not white as you not in your video.
