Where can I locate procedures to install part AP3186471? Thanks.
Answer Hello Gerald. You will need to remove the water line from the water valve and then pull the old tube off the back of the refrigerator. Reinstall in reverse order with the new part. Hope this helps.

I have a water leak around the grommet when the ice maker is fed water. Can the grommet be sealed or seated better or must I replace it? Whatever your answer, how do I do this?
In order to correct the issue you will need to remove the grommet and tube assembly and replace it. To do this you would pull the refrigerator out and unplug and turn water supply off. Remove the lower cover of the refrigerator in the back. Disconnect the water tube to the icemaker. Pull the grommet out of the wall of the freezer. You may need to remove the icemaker when reinstalling the new grommet and tube assembly WR17X11168. Put new grommet and tube assembly and reconnect.
I just bought this refrigerator and there are two water lines dropping down near the top one is attached to the water inlet valve the other one hangs free does this one attach to the supply if so it was cut to short can it be replaced? there is alot of sticky packing under the cover near the top I don't want to break anything
Answer Hello Jay,
You do not want to attach the one that is hanging down directly to the water supply. This was designed to have a hose that goes from the supply valve to the refrigerator line. This is to ensure that when you pull unit out you do not pull the water line out of the filter housing. You will want to get a 6 foot icemaker water line.
How do i replace/remove the black hose running up the back of the unit that enters on the freezer side? I broke the hose and need to replace it. On the diagram it appears the hose enters number 270.
Answer Hello Dave,
To replace the water fill hose you pull the cover off the grommet/fill tube on the back of unit. Once off you will pull the grommet out and put new one in. Take the back cover off the unit and remove water valve and disconnect the tubing. Once disconnected put new one in.
The water line in the Freezer door seems to be blocked or frozen. How do I get it out of the freezer door to thaw or replace?
Answer Hello Tom. The best way is to put the food in a cooler or another unit and then turn off the power and leave the freezer door open for 4 to 6 hours to thaw.
The water line broke where it starts to go into the freezer door from constant twisting on the door from opening and closing. How do I take the freezer door apart to replace the water line from the dispenser to the bottom. It is broken inside the bottom part of the freezer door.
Answer Hi Derek. The parts view does not show the inner door liner as a separate part. So you will need to tape a thin rope to the dispenser tubing end before pulling it out from the bottom (after the door is removed from hinges). This way you have a pull line at both points in case the 5/16" tubing does not fully push up from the bottom to the top. 5/16" tubing w/connector is part # WR17X1483. Thank You.
