How do you change the light bulb on the inside.
Answer Hello Joe,
If there is no access plate to remove to get the light bulb out then you will have to take cabinet off the unit.
My microwave surface light, which contains two 10 watt halogen lamp bulbs, is not working. Is it possible that both bulbs could burn out at the same time or is there another problem? All other functions of the microwave are working properly.
Answer Hello Edward,
Yes it is possible for both bulbs to blow a the same time. You may also want to check to make sure that you are getting voltage to the lights. This can be done by dropping the lower cover of the microwave and testing for voltage with the light in the on position across the yellow and blue wires. If there is no power but you are getting the interior lamp then you have a bad control board WB27X10438.
Can any one tell me the bulb that go in this unit and what is the base size?
Answer John, it would depend on which lamp you were needing. For the inside light use part number WB36X10163, installs into the reflector WB36X10325. For the light that shines down onto the cooking area use part number WB01X10239, installs into the holder assembly WB06X10310. Looks like each lamp plug in- they do not use a base to screw in. Thanks!
Part# ap3191384 what is the voltage of the lamp ?
Answer Hello Dale! The halogen lamp WB36X10163 is a 10 watt 12 volt ac lamp. Thanks.
