The area where the evap fan motor is located freezes. The water freezes and builds up and stops the fan and than the refrigerator stops cooling. My question is could this be caused by the defrost heater? I've already replaced the thermostat and def control. Thanks, jim

water in the drain area , where the evaporator fan is located, freezes up (including the fan blade) and then the refrigerator ( not the freezer) gets warm.....from what I read I think it's the defrost heater, it seems to be a commom problem with GE......what do you think the problem is. thank you
