I cannot remove the 3 connectors that attach to the 3 dryer coil wires on the inside of the round sheet metal. I've tried needle nose pliers and am afraid if I apply more pressure will break the plastic block. Do they have a release?
Answer Pccat, Yes, the terminals have a release point. You'll need to "squeeze" the plastic cover together, and pull out on the wire at the same time. You can also use a small flat blade screwdriver, and carefully "pry" the wire terminals off the element terminals.
What is the part# for a snap ring for a bearing ?
Answer Hello Maria, we show for the bearing we have a kit that includes all of the parts needed to replace it part number WE25M40. If you were referring to the ceramic insulator for the heating element it's part number WE1X1176. Thanks!
Probably a stupid question but, does this kit come w/both inner and outer coils? Does it make a difference which coil goes where? If so, how can I tell which is inner and outer coil?
Answer Larry, the heater element kit WE11X203 comes with both coils for your heater element. It does not matter which coil goes where. Just make sure you spaces them between the insulators evenly. Thanks!
Does this come with instructions on replacing it?
Answer Hello Chuck! Unfortunately, the restring kit WE11X203 does not include instructions for installation. However, we do have a great repair forum available for all of our DIY customers. Its completely free to register and for assistance. Here is the link, thanks! http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/register.php
