Start/reset light just blinks, won't turn on.
Turned off the power, no effect.
Answer Hello John. Make sure the door switches are good on the unit. If so, you will need to order and replace the membrane WD34X11158 on the unit.
What is the control bx part number for this unit?
Answer Eric, I've found your model ZBD6880N00SS. The control module is part number WD21X10373. Thanks!
THE DISHWASHER ONLY DRAINS SOMETIMES.NO CLOGS ,IMPELLER SPINS FREELY,DO YOU THINK THE DRAIN PUMP WORKS INTERMITTINGLY OR SHOULD I BE LOOKING MAYBE ELECTRICAL. I DONT WANT TO START BUYING PARTS I DONT NEED.MACHINE IS 7 YRS OLD.
Answer Chuck, you're on the right track. It is more likely to have an intermittent or failed drain pump WD26X10039 than a defective control board WD21X10241 or wiring at this stage. You do want to make sure the filter screens and sump chamber are clear of any sediment, chemical build up or debris. You also may want to disconnect the drain hose from the plumbing, and drain the dishwasher into a bucket, a few times, this would clear any debris from the drain hose.
I have a problem similar to Brad's with the pdw8880l00ss. Mine will start (begin to fill), sometimes start the cycle, sometimes just stop during filling and at other times, finish the rinse cycle and start the wash cycle andthen just stop. I've noticed that the cycle time under the same conditions as a few weeks ago is now 20 minutes shorter? Any ideas?
Answer Hi. It seems like you have a couple different issue. Remove the lower kick plate. Inspect the float stem as it engages the float switch for positive engagement actions up and down (ON/OFF). Make sure the float stem has not fallen off the side of the lever and the side cover has not uncapped open allowing all of this. Once this is established, then the Diagnostic chart needs to be located (either behind the toe kick panel in with the electronic control board). Put the unit into a diagnostic mode. It sounds like the Turbidity Sensor test in the diagnostic needs tested. The Sensor is part # WD21X10202. Make sure the door latch/switches are staying closed. Let us know what the diagnostic error codes are so we can help. Thank You.
