Washer has no spin or agitation. In Field Service Mode, non of the LEDS light. What's wrong?
You will need to access the motor and check to make sure that the LED on the inverter board is lit. If the inverter is lit or flashing then you will need to make note of how many flashes and the increment and check that against the tech sheet for the inverter board. It sounds like this may be a motor issue.
I am getting the 6 flashing green LED, indicating motor failure. But I am also not reading anything on my OHM test of the Shaft circuit plug. Not sure what my bad part is, and don't want to buy one when I really need the other.
The mode shifter coil connects to the C7 connector and should read at approximately 98 Ohms at 77 degrees. If you are not getting a reading then the mode shifter is faulty and needs to be replaced. Check to make sure that the tub moves freely and does not bind. If this checks ok then the motor would also have to be replaced due to a locked rotor.
How can I find video to watch to help me. Are there any available the washer drains but wont agitate or spin and dont see any led blinking on motor thanks.
Answer Hello Neil,
If you do not have a light on the motor control then you will want to test to make sure that the control is getting power. If control is getting power then you would need to replace motor WH20X10076.
How do I program to service mode to check led blinks to find whats wrong with my washer.
Answer Hello Neil,
If the invertor has no light then either you have a bad in line fuse in the wire harness or you have a bad motor. Test the motor to make sure that there is power. If no power then check inline fuse if it is good then the control board is not sending power to the motor.
no blinks...first step...fuse harness?
Answer Hello Brian,
If the inverter motor does not have any blinks to it the first thing you will want to check is the inline 10 amp fuse in the wire harness. If failed then needs to be replaced.
