Do I have 2 igniters on this model, broiler and oven?
Answer Hello Ed! Yes, your model has two igniters. The manufactured replacement is part number WB2X9154, this can be used as the bake/oven or broil. Thanks.
Is the igniter suppose to stay lit after the burner is lit?
Answer Hello Anthony. Yes, the igniter is suppose to stay lit after the burner ignights.
Do I have to take the plate below the igniter off in order to replace it.
If you are unable to get the igniter off without taking the burner out then you would need to remove the burner as the plate is attached to the burner itself.
My oven works fine but my broil and self clean does not work. What part would be needed to fix this. Does the oven and broiler take different igniters? Also where could I find written installation instructions.
Answer Hello Morty,
This model does use the same ignitor WB2X9154 for the broil and the bake burners. This part will cause the issue you have described but the sensor WB21X5301 and the control WB27K10143 could also cause this. I would test the sensor for about 1100 ohms of resistance at about 70°F while tapping on it in case the problem is intermittent. If this tests good, the ignitor is next suspect. If it is good also, replace the control WB27K10143.
