What is required for me to convert from natural gas to propane? Do I need to purchase any additional parts for my GE profile gas top? Thanks Mitch
Answer Mitch, you'll need the LP orifices to convert to LP. The small burner orifice is part number WB28K10031, medium burner orifice is part number WB28K10215 and large burner orifice is part number WB28T10033. You'll need to flip the pin on the regulator to LP. Thanks!
Cooktop is taking a relatively long time (~30 sec) for gas to start flowing so the burner(s) light. Any suggestions on cause of problem and possible remedies?
Answer Hello Jack,
If it is just one burner that you are having problems with you may have an issue with the gas valve. If it is all of the top that there is a problem with then you should look at the gas pressure or bad regulator.
Which way is this installed for nautral gas both openings appear to be the same size?
Answer Hello Sandy. You remove the brass nut to flip the regulator WB19T10078, not the whole regulator and turn it around. The regulator has an arrow for direction of gas flow.
Do you know if you would be able to get this part, WB19T10089? Is there any particular reason why you do not have it?
Answer Hello Mike! The part is now available in our system. At this time it is out of stock and considered a special order item. You may contact our customer service team at 1-877-477-7278 to verify our special order parts process. Thanks!
