Spray arm doesn't rotate. No leaks. Water must be going in as the drain cycles. What's the problem?
Answer Rick, First check and make sure the dishwasher is filling properly. The water level after 3-5 minutes of wash time should be 3/4 to 1 inch deep at the float dome in the front left corner of the tub. If not in range, replace the fill valve WD15X10003. If the water level is OK, then you'll need to remove the cover and filter WD12X417 and check the sump for debris and clogs that would restrict the water flow to the impeller WD19X10032.
How do I remove the bottom spray arm in order to replace the gear ring under it? Is there a Philips screw in the pop up?
Thank you very much.
Answer Hello Werner. Use a screw driver to use as a pry bar. Insert it in the square opening under the spray arm assembly to unscrew. It should turn counterclockwise.
water leaking at the bottom of the door. Do you think it would be the spray arm or the seal around the door.
You will want to check the spray arm for cracks or plugged holes in the spray arm. If this checks ok then the door seal would be the issue.
When I start my dishwasher I can hear motor running but It does not fill with water. What could be the problem?
You will want to check to make sure that the water valve is getting 120 vac when the dishwasher is turned on. If there is power then the water valve would need to be replaced.

I just moved into a house with this model dishwasher. When I turn the dishwasher on, the middle piece of the spray arm does not come up and the water in the spray arm isn't coming out very well. I opened the door during the cycle and the dishwasher does not stop its cycle. Any help on what to do would be greatly appreciated.
Answer Hello Rachel,
This is an issue with the drain valve leaking pressure. The drain valve is not available without the pump housing assembly. The easiest way to correct this issue is by replacing the pump and motor assembly WD26X10013. This will restore the pressure inside the unit so the water spray will supply the detergent water to all surfaces of the dishes for a satisfactory wash result.
The door interlock switch WD21X10261 is stuck which is why the unit door can be opened and the cycle continues.
I turned the control knob and it doesn't turn on? What could it be?
Answer Hi. First inspect the drawer external ON/OFF switch part # 00189432 to see if the drawer actually engages it when pushed closed for safety. The thermostat part # 00189418 has to close and send voltage to the drawer heater part # 00486314. Ohm these parts out for closed continuity to be able to utilize power. Thank You.
