Tablets not disolving. So when I had trouble rolling lower dish basket in the machine in and out, I noticed a knife blade protruding down and blocking lower sprayer arm. I removed lower basket and found sprayer arm rotating with some difficulty. Top assembly seemed loose and in fact center top assembly seemed broken as I could lift it out with my fingers. Does this require a replacement of sprayer assembly?

Answer Hello Ronnie! Use a screw driver to use as a pry bar. Insert it in the square opening under the spray arm assembly to unscrew. It should turn counterclockwise.

Is the spray bar on this dishwasher supposed to be easily removable? On mine, I can just pull up gently on the bar and it comes out of the tower. It seems like it shouldn't do that since water pressure could just push it up out of the tower and into contact with the bottome of the dish rack. I think mine might be missing a bearing or a seal.

I just moved into a house with this model dishwasher. When I turn the dishwasher on, the middle piece of the spray arm does not come up and the water in the spray arm isn't coming out very well. I opened the door during the cycle and the dishwasher does not stop its cycle. Any help on what to do would be greatly appreciated.

Answer Hello Rachel, This is an issue with the drain valve leaking pressure. The drain valve is not available without the pump housing assembly. The easiest way to correct this issue is by replacing the pump and motor assembly WD26X10013. This will restore the pressure inside the unit so the water spray will supply the detergent water to all surfaces of the dishes for a satisfactory wash result. The door interlock switch WD21X10261 is stuck which is why the unit door can be opened and the cycle continues.

Answer Hi. First inspect the drawer external ON/OFF switch part # 189432 to see if the drawer actually engages it when pushed closed for safety. The thermostat part # 189418 has to close and send voltage to the drawer heater part # 486314. Ohm these parts out for closed continuity to be able to utilize power. Thank You.

Hi. My model number is GSD2204P00WW. I found the top part of my spray arm (the last piece when you unfold it all) in the bottom of my dishwasher. Is there a way for me to put it back where it was or do I need to replace the whole spray arm and if so, which model should I use ? Thanks in advance

Hi, again. I have tried turning that part but it does not budge. I also cannot tell whether it is a left or right turn to determine if I am turning in the correct direction. By the picture I would guess that a counter clockwise turn loosens it, but it just won't budge. Do I need a special tool?
