I am looking to replace the suspension rods on my washer and have been reading all your responses to questions asked by customers. One response suggests green rods in the rear and black rods in the front. My washer is assembled with the green in the front and black in the rear. Is this a manufacturer error? Also, the model number tag is missing from my washer so the model number listed here is based on photos of the unit from the internet, WWSE5240GWW

I have a GE Super Capacity Plus clothes washer, Model # WCSR4170GWW. It is making a screeching noise while it runs. The gap between the top of the tub and the top of the washer has increased over time, and when I remove the front panel and look at a loaded washer, the bottom of the tub is scraping against the bottom frame of the washer. The tub looks level, but it's just riding WAY too low. As far as I can tell, all of the suspension rod assemblies are intact. I understand that a suspension rod assembly can wear out over time, but wouldn't it be unusual for them to all go at the same time? How do I know if I need to replace some or all of the suspension rods, or if it could be some other problem?

The yellow suspension rods are dead in my machine, allowing the tube / motor support to rub the bottom of the cabinet. Can I replace the yellow (air suspension) with the black suspension rods? Thanks.

Having a problem with the final spin. With clothes in the tub the tub quickly becomes unballanced and stops. When the tub is empty it will complete the cycle. The rubber straps on each corenr appear to be fine and the suppension rods are all in place. Is there a counter balalnce spring somewhere? I do not see one. Could the supension rods just be worn out? This machine has been used - meaning we have really loaded this thing up in the past - that is why I suspect the suppension rods have worn out. Thank you

Our GE WWSE5240GOWW washing machine's spin cycle keeps stalling so that the spin cycle won't continue. If we push the tub toward the right back suspension rod it seems to work/spin correctly. Can you suggest how to fix for this problem?
