Ice Door Not closing causing ice build up in freezer.
Answer Hello Daniel. You will need to order and replace the solenoid WR62X10055 on the unit.
Freezer door interface display board was replaced, worked for a month, now it appears to be without power. replaced the board again, still no power.
Answer Dan F.,
You will want to check the wire harness at the bottom of the door to make sure that the harness is not damage or have broken wires. If the wiring checks ok then the main control board would be the issue with the main control board.
After replacing the water filter, the water continues to dispense after letting the dispenser go. Strong flow at first and then a trickle, eventually stopping. I purged the water lines and then replaced the solenoid valve with no luck. What else could it be?
Answer Hello Chris,
If the water pressure to the valve is low or the new valve is defective, there will be residual runtime, (3 seconds after release is the symptom), just as there is when air gets in the system. There is also the possibility of a loose water line or a pin hole in a water line allowing air into the system. It is important to throw out about 2 gallons to ensure all of the system is properly purged.
Water constantly runs out of the spout at the dispenser.
Answer Hello Ed. If there is power coming to the valve, you will need to check the micro-switch in the freezer door. If there is no power, and you have to turn off the water to stop it, you will need to replace the water valve on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

The ice dispencer door will not close all the way?
Answer Hello Phil,
The most likely cause of the dispenser door not closing all the way is the dispenser solenoid WR62X10055. If you grasp the lower part of the dispenser interface and pull out from the bottom you can get the interface off. You can then remove 4 screws that hold the housing in place. Remove housing and solenoid is on the right side of the dispenser area.
