Replacing the igniters on the top,do I need to remove the top to install these and do I need to replace the clips also, if there are any, is it a good practice to replace the wire harness when doing this??? GE free standing natural gas range

Answer Kenny, You will want to remove the main top to replace the igniters. You should replace the clip only if damaged and unless the wiring harness has damage to it then you would not need to replace it.

I have a GE XL44 and the upper two burners are fine but the lower two burners won't ignite. The guy told me to change the Top Burner Igniter - Electrode. If the Top Burner Igniter - Electrode has a problem, why it works on the upper two burners but not the lower two burners. Need help!!!!

Answer Hello Ken. It sounds like the spark module WB13K25 is bad and will need to be replaced, not the upper igniter. Hope this helps.

Hello we have an oportunity to buy a ge spectra eterna xl44 for $80.00 the guy says it needs 2 ignitors im assuming its electrodes, do you have an how to install link to see if its worth the investment? Thank you Tom

Answer Hello Tom, if you are looking for the burner electrodes you have located the correct part WB13K10003. To remove the electrode you will have to remove the burner head example WB16K10055. Once you have removed the head you will use a flat head screw driver to pry out the ignitor clip WB01K10112. The ignitor should slide up and out. Hope this helps!
