Thanks for the excellent video! It made disassembly a breeze! My wife purchased a new transmission & brake assembly from you yesterday, so I plan to re-assemble as soon as it arrives. I just wanted to know if you need to apply any grease to the tub bearing or transmission shaft before final assembly. You don't show it on the video, but it felt like there may have been some grease in there originally. Thanks, Brian

Washer works fine except makes a really loud roaring noise during the spin cycle and is louder the faster it spins. I replaced the tub bearing washer, reassembled and the noise is still there just as loud. Do I need to replace the transmission?

At the end of the wash or rinse cycle the tub spins. Before it spun really fast and slung most of the water out of the clothes. Now it spins but never attains the speed it did before and the cloths are not clinging to the sides of the tub as they did before. What is wrong that keeps the tub from spinning fast enough at the end of a cycle?

I have noticed wet-looking marks on my clothes. I first thought it was fabric softener but have changed my routine and eliminated fabric softener all together and use white vinegar instead. Still have spots. Then I changed my laundry detergent to liquid and didn't use as much. Spots still continue. Please don't tell me this is due to a bad transmission.

I this GE washer which is *really* loud during the spin cycle. How would I narrow down it being either A) the motor or B) the transmission (definitely). I'm assuming that it is the transmission but am afraid if I were to purchase this part I'll find out it was really the motor.
